About Us

In 2003, Chris May and Drew Goldie entered the last UROC competiton for the season in Jellico, TN "for fun" with Chris' 1978 Toyota pickup in the modified class.  They were the only truck in the modified class to be almost completely stock.  After that event, they knew they wanted to be serious competitors.  New to professional rockcrawling (but offroad enthusiasts for many years), they modified and made changes to the Toyota pickup to be ready for the 2004 season, still keeping most of the original parts, look, etc.  After finishing  the season in 9th place,  they knew they would have to build a custom vehicle in order to be competitve. With the help and sponsorship of Tommy Glenn, a custom fabricator, they built a competition buggy from the Toyota pickup, and were ready to compete for the 2005 season as Team 99, Yota Off Road. After the first few events, Chris and Drew quickly learned of changes that needed to be made with upgrades and repairs. The team finished in 6th place for 2005 in the UROC and NEUROC series.

After being the spotter for Chris for almost 3 seasons, Drew decided to build his own modified buggy for the 2006 season. Once again, Tommy Glenn helped build the custom buggy from a 1997 Jeep Cherokee. We will be competing in the UROC and W.E.ROCK series as Team 612, Goldie Offroad, with Eric Dickard as the spotter. We are looking forward to the upcoming season!
